ADARA RELIEF INTERNATIONAL CONDEMNS ISRAELI TROOPS

Chairman of Adara Relief International (ARI) Maryam Rachmayani condemns violence committed by Israeli troops to Palestinian children in prison and in atack to Gaza.

Maryam gave her opinion in Jakarta, Monday (24/6), in response to the UN report on Israeli troops torturing Palestinian children in detention and use them as human shields and minesweepers.

"We condemn Israel's treatment to children. According to human right it is absolutely wrong, and the children can not fight," she told Mi'raj News Agency reporter.

UN report on Thursday (20/6) revealed that Palestinian children arrested by the military and police (Israel) systematically and subjected to degrading treatment, tortured, interrogated in Hebrew language, a language that they don’t understand, and sign a confession in Hebrew language in order to be released.

Hundreds of Palestinian children have been killed and thousands more are injured, especially in Gaza, where the Israel launch air strikes and naval attack in densely populated areas with a number of children. Israel ignores the international laws.

About 7,000 Palestinians aged 12 to 17 years, some nine years of age, have been arrested and detained. Many of them brought to the military court in chained leg, the report said.

According to Maryam, who had joined in GMJ (Global March To Jerusalem), so far United Nations just play a political role in addressing the violations by Israel. But UN doesn’t give any sanctions or penalties to Israel.

"The UN language just 'blasted', but that's politics. Language to cheer the hearts of Muslims," Maryam said.

Israeli atrocities can not be stopped until the end of the world, according to Maryam, but also the movement of Muslims can not be stopped until the end of day.

"We could not be stopped, movements that we do make Israel panic, like we did in GMJ movement. Muslims will continue to perform the movement with what they have, at least with prayer. "

Adara Relief International (ARI) is the first organization in Indonesia that focus on issues of women and children of Palestine, which is managed by the women.

Through this institution along with other members of ARI, Maryam actively rising women issues and children of Palestine. They also do fundraising and directly give the fund to Gaza.

ARI works with the organization Women for Palenstine in Gaza, who also specialized in the issue of women and children of Palestine.
